We know that your head is probably spinning from this sudden change, but you can take a deep breath now, because you have found a great starting place as you embark on your T1D journey. There will likely be some ups and downs as you navigate changes in your body and grieve the simplicity of eating popcorn on the couch without counting carbs or giving insulin…AND we promise it doesn’t have to be this hard forever. If you feel lost, frustrated, stressed, or alone, we are here to help you get grounded again. We want to show you the way back to yourself.

Recommended Class: Becoming One with Diabetes

Acceptance of T1D is an important part of mental and emotional health. This class guides you through 4 different phases of acceptance to help you feel more connected to your diabetes. You will learn to meet yourself where you are in this moment, lean into the grief and shame that often come with diabetes, discover ownership of your health, and integrate diabetes into your life sustainably.

Diabetic Health Journal.

The Diabetic Health Journal is a proven tool to help you approach your diabetes in a more mindful and reflective way. The DHJ guides you to take a more holistic approach to managing your T1D with daily blood sugar and nutrition logs, gratitude jotting, and a space to log patterns and other daily habits. DHJ users have lowered A1C on average by 1%, have more clarity on what best serves their blood sugars, and feel less overwhelmed and more happy each day.
