Today we have Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and Certified Case Manager Grace Silverio on the show to talk about her experience with diabetes education and her work with Diversity In Diabetes.
Diversity In Diabetes is a 5013c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating awareness and providing solutions to end health disparities and the lack of representation in the diabetes space.
Grace has been a registered nurse for over 14 years and is currently a Solution Sales Consultant for Teladoc Health and the subject matter expert for Whole Person care including, Diabetes, Hypertension, Diabetes Prevention, and Weight Management solutions. She has helped train and develop healthcare providers and their patients on insulin pumps and CGMs and is very passionate about prevention and diabetes education.
